This was sooo good. Used garam masala instead of ras el-hanout, would recommend being sure to seed the jalapeño if you’re spice averse. The combination of the dates, jalapeño, and raw broccoli was great.

I served this salad over some leftover rice I had in my fridge and it was a meal in itself. I substituted za'atar for the ras-el-hanout and it was delicious. The date and pistachio combo was terrific. I would definitely make this again.

Delicious salad and a brilliantly refreshing addition to a simple BBQ mixed grill. I substituted no ingredients, made some extra ras-en-hanout for other dishes later and am really glad I made the effort. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely amazing! Replaced the pistachios with toasted almonds and shallot with white onion as I didn't have either and still tasted great!

Made a few substitutions thanks to quarantine life - green onion for the cilantro, garam masala for the ras-el-hanout, no pistachios - and still really enjoyed this. Especially great the next day after hanging out in the fridge. My takeaway is this is a great template for a broccoli salad, I look forward to making it again and trying different add-ins.
